Ricky Croft is a digital artist and creative project built around one simple purpose: to make music that makes people move, dance, and feel something.

Behind Ricky Croft, I write the lyrics, develop the concepts, shape the sound, and create music from ideas and emotions that are real to me. I am incredibly grateful to live in a time where creativity can take so many different forms, and where I can take words, melodies, technology, production tools, and imagination and turn them into something that can be shared with people around the world.

Every artist uses tools to bring a vision to life. For me, the most important part has always been the connection. The lyrics are original, the ideas come from a real place, and every song begins with something I want to express  whether that is confidence, heartbreak, freedom, attraction, loneliness, hope, or simply the feeling of wanting to get up and dance.

The Ricky Croft sound blends dance pop, Afro-inspired rhythms, electronic production, and global influences, including Arabic-inspired elements, but the goal goes beyond any one genre. I want to create music that can live on a dance floor while still carrying words that mean something.

I am grateful to have a world where I can write lyrics, create music, experiment, and share that creativity with people I may never meet. If one of my songs makes someone smile, dance in their room, feel understood, get through a difficult night, or gives them something to lean on for three minutes, then the music has done what I hoped it would do.

Ricky Croft may be the face and voice of this creative world, but behind it is a genuine love of writing, music, storytelling, and the feeling that happens when a song connects with another person.

That connection is what makes all of this worth creating.
